Funny, I actually was thinking just this morning that this would be nice. Wonder if the platform the online manual is hosted on supports PDF export. I would think so.
You can paste the content you‘re looking for into Word to get the paper layout. And you‘ll get a filtered document. This could be refined with a structure. But it would be outdated on day two. KeyShot can change the online manual or add content like videos. We‘re able to give the manual pages some feedback, that might impact future updates. Online resources can chat bots use to answer specific user questions.
There should be an AI tool like perplexity to extract the online content into the pdf.

This might help—but it’s not really the cleanest as i didn’t go for any of the images and if I recall correctly, I ordered the pages by title before merging them all into one document. To do this, I had made a python Scrapy Spider to download multiple KeyShot 2024 manual pages, save them as HTML, and convert each to a PDF using wkhtmltopdf before stapling all into one document in Blubeam.
It’s not pretty, but I use this, among other documents, as a quick reference tool in a custom GPT when I want to get technique suggestions—it has been helping.
But like Marco said, it is basically outdated right away given how it is not dynamic.
